How the math connects
- Annual room nights sold = rooms × 365 × occupancy %
- No-show revenue loss = nights sold × no-show rate × ADR
- Recovery = (current rate − post-auth rate) × nights sold × ADR
Pre-arrival auth assumes the property sends an authorisation request before arrival and holds (not charges) the card. Operator-reported no-show-rate reductions on anonymised mid-market properties land in the 3-4 percentage-point range in the first quarter after deployment.

El numero de recuperacion es tu escenario, no una afirmacion del vendor. Si la tasa post-despliegue asumida es realista depende de dos cosas: el mix de canales (OTAs prepagados ya fuerzan un hold, asi que la tasa no-show en ese canal es estructuralmente mas baja) y la redaccion del mensaje de autorizacion (huespedes que no entienden el hold suelen no actualizar tarjetas expiradas).
